Why Fear Doubt?

Our relationship with God is demonstrated through marriage and family.

The Lord opened a door, for me recently, into a deeper understanding of many things. One of which is the fear of doubt.

The other day, I heard yet another saying, "I've been struggling with doubt" and I blurted out this new revelation from the Lord. I thought I'd share it here.

When a man choses a woman for marriage, and she accepts, that man does not yet possess her heart. It's AFTER she accepts, she will go through a trial of doubt. Every human being goes through this, whether or not they admit it.

There comes a time, before the wedding when each one will wonder if they have made the right decision. "Is this truly the right thing to do?"

Once these doubts are dealt with, only then do each other truly possess the other.

The same with the Lord. Jesus calls us His Bride. He knows you will go through the valley of doubt and He cherishes this time in our lives. Why? Because it means that when you come to the final decision, truly you belong to Him. He already knows you do not truly belong to Him, until you have faced and conquered doubt.

The day will come when you stand up to the doubt, make a final decision, and only then are you truly sold out to the Lord.

So knowing that doubt must come, and knowing that Jesus cherishes those who have come through the fire, why do you fear having doubts?

Is it truly 'doubt' you feel guilty about? Or is it the fear of having doubts? Actually, it's the fear of having doubt because you feel it is a turning away from the Lord. It is not. It is a trial we must all walk through. Those who come through it victoriously, will have been tried by fire. It is these, the Lord waits for.

Infidels, is an Islamic term. Not a Christian term.

How are we to know what gay people are to God? We have only His Word, to go by.

People are loved by God, regardless. But perversion of truth is much hated by God. So you have applied the reactions to sin, to the people themselves, which is not the case. The people are Gods creation. The sin is not Gods creation.

So the question should be 'is perversion against God?' The answer is yes. Stop applying the sin as though it's the people. It's not. Sin is sin and mankind is mankind.

Great word, very encouraging! What's the best way to get through the walk?

The best way to get through the walk?
Nobody ever said it was easy. When your heart is won over, you follow regardless of what your mind tells you. You are in love.
When times get tough, you shorten your goals to one day at a time and when it gets really tough, you shorten it to one hour at a time until the pressure lets up.
In the mean time, you take control over your own thoughts. Knowing the devil will feed you with all sorts of vile thoughts and doubts, take him by the throat. You simply demand, in the name of Jesus, that the devil let go of your mind and get away from you. You have that authority.
When those times come, that the Bible seems like childish jibberish, lay it aside. Don't fight it. Walk close to the Lord and wait. That time will pass and you will return to the Word.
We have to daily remind ourselves that Jesus is our one true love and that He loves us in ways we can't imagine.
This life is short. We do for others, all we can. We deliver the good news, when someone wants to receive and we don't worry ourselves about those who will not.
We focus on our tomorrow and we stomp on doubt.
When it comes right down to it, I remember something my dad said. "If you're right and I'm wrong then I've lost nothing. If I'm right and you're wrong, you've lost everything."
Sometimes, we have to cling to that alone, to get us through the tough times.

Knowing ahead of time, that this world hates Jesus and us right along with Him, helps to prepare us for the fire.

Know, in your heart, that it's these trials and our coming through them, that endear us to the Lord.
