Clouds all around me

It may seem, sometimes, that the Lord is not answering your prayers. When this happens, just hang tight.

Really hard to do, I understand that. I've been through it myself. If home is where the ill feelings are then who is bringing that into the household? If you already know and don't see a way out, lean hard on the Lord and wait on His perfect timing. It will come.

Sometimes you just aren't sure what the problem is. Is it him/her? Is it me? Until all truth is lying out on the table for all to see, you won't find out what the real problem is. This is when you lean even harder and ask the Lord to open your eyes and ears and to give you discernment in the matter.

Eventually that egg will crack and out will come the truth, exposing the underlying sickness that is poisoning your very existence. This is what you want - truth. Without it, you wander in darkness with no real answers and no direction.

Sometimes you're amazed at what the truth really was. Sometimes that truth hurts but better to react to the real thing, than to your own imagination.

Walk in truth and you will walk in the light. Refuse to live in a house with untruth, as that kills. Nothing is worth living in such darkness.

Thanks for your post! I believe holding on and trusting God completely is the best way to get past those clouds. Things may be tight or rough but God provides brilliantly and brings you out more triumphantly than before!

Hello!
You wrote: “It may seem, sometimes, that the Lord is not answering your prayers. When this happens, just hang tight.”
I want to comment, but first some important information.

[To separate], The historical person about whom it is written in the original version that later was redacted into the ”gospel of Matthew” had the title Ribi (similar to Rabbi) and was named Yehoshua. His name was later redacted by Hellenists into “Jesus”.

The original teachings of Ribi Yehoshua – the Messiah – was totally in accordance with the directives of the “books of Moses” and was later distorted to what is no found in the “gospel of Matthew” [note 1]. The followers of Ribi Yehoshua – the Messiah – was called the Netzarim (de-Judaized to “Nazarenes”) and they did their best to practise the directives of the “books of Moses” non-selectively; and in order to follow the Messiah today one is required to do ones utmost to practise the directives of the “books of Moses” [note 2]. Neither Ribi Yehoshua nor his followers started Christianity. They didn’t teach the “gospel”. They didn’t follow the ”NT”. [note 2]

The historical Messiahs teachings about prayer were in accordance with the Jewish Bible. The Creator does not answer prayers not in accordance with His will. That people should accept the Christian “gospel” – which contradicts the Jewish Bible [proved in note 2] – is not the will of the Creator. Also, according to “Proverbs” 28:9, the Creator only wants people to pray that are doing His will.

To follow the Messiahs teachings – leads you into observance of the directives of the ”books of Moses” – and leads you into a living and real relation with the Father, which is very meaningful!

Spoken by a well read, blindly believing that the written word is all truth, and an anti-christian.

If your desire was to sound intellectual, you succeeded, as did the pharisees. As for understanding what I'm about, you went so far off to the left, you're probably standing in the Sahara desert.

Could you possibly kneel down and grovel at our level, which is on earth?

First, I'm trying to figure out how it is you thought we were both on the same trend of thought.

Second, if you were a believer, you'd know that the One we call Jesus, fulfilled the law. We don't live under it any more and that's according to God's will. (and by the way, Rabbi means 'teacher')

So...if Jesus is the fulfillment and it's God's will that it be so, wouldn't it make sense to listen to Jesus' words? You seem to be stuck in the writings of Moses. Which, by the way, was a fore runner for the coming Jesus.

We are called 'the bride of Jesus'. Is there something about the word 'bride' that just cannot connect with your intellect? Or is it possible, your thinking of the word has something more of a meaning that only a muslim could understand?

Our teaching and our faith is that of love, not stoning if we don't walk the perfect line. This is something the non-believer cannot grasp.

Now according to Jesus, we are under contract, when it comes to prayer and having our prayers answered but not the contract you spoke of. Jesus said, "if my words abide in you and you abide in me, ask the Father what you "WILL" and it will be given unto you".

Seems to me, the beginning of the church - not what you referred to.

If you find it hard to abide in Jesus, then you will also find it hard to have your prayers answered.

Personally, I don't live under the old law, I live in Jesus and my prayers are answered many times. So if you are having trouble getting through to heaven, you might stand back and examine your motives.
